By using our website, you fully accept the terms of our rental. By making a reservaton with ABC Rentals, <\/b>means that you, the tenant, have read and accepted all the terms of our website, therefore, all information must be understood thoroughly.<\/p>\n

ABC Rentals <\/i>resererves the right to modify these terms anytime.<\/p>\n

General Terms Of ABC Rentals:<\/b><\/h2>\n

Driver & Driving License Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n

Mimimum age is 24 years and maximum age is 75 years.<\/p>\n

Drivers must hold their licenses for at least 1 year.<\/p>\n

Drivers at the age 20-23 and 76-80 must choose the Age Limit Insurance<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Drivers must also show their ID\/Passport as additional proof on identity.<\/p>\n

The driving license must me either Greek, European (for E.U. countries) or International (for non E.U. countries).<\/p>\n

Rental Cost Calculation:<\/b><\/p>\n

The rental cost is calculated on a 24-hour basis with a margin of 1 hour calculated from the time pick-up time of the vehicle. After 1 hour, an extra day is charged.<\/p>\n

The minimum rental is 1 hour, which is defined as 1 day’s rental.<\/p>\n

Payment methods:<\/b><\/p>\n

Payment for the rental is made at the pick-up of the car in cash or via credit\/debit card.<\/p>\n

When making the booking your might be asked to pay in adnvance to complete your reservation. In any case, you will be informed in time by the reservation department.<\/p>\n

Taxes:<\/b><\/p>\n

VAT 24% is included in the rental cost.<\/p>\n

Reservation change and Cancellation policy:<\/span><\/p>\n

For any changes in the reservation the customer must inform the reservation department at leat 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up.<\/p>\n

If you cancel up to 7 days prior to the scheduled receipt of the vehicle there is no charge.<\/p>\n

After the pick-up of the vehicle, any cancellation or change from the initial schedule is not refunded.<\/p>\n

Car Type & Category:<\/span><\/p>\n

Reservation are always confirmed for a given car group and not a specific car model. The car on your voucher represents the group you have booked. We cannot guarantee a specific make or model.<\/p>\n

Required documents:<\/b><\/p>\n

At the pick-up the driver will be asked to present their driving license, ID\/Passport and a valid credit\/debit card.<\/p>\n

Fuel Policy:<\/b><\/p>\n

Fuel is paid by the customer. The car must be return with the same amount of fuel as collected. In any other case the difference will be charged locally.<\/p>\n

Kilometers:<\/span><\/p>\n

There is no limit to the kilometres\/miles of each rental day.<\/p>\n

Return of the Car before the date\/time stated on the rental agreement:<\/span><\/p>\n

No part of the payment will be refunded if the vehicle is returned earlier than the end of the rental period.<\/p>\n

Geographical Restrictions:<\/span><\/p>\n

Driving or transporting the vehicle outside the island of Crete is not allowed.<\/p>\n

Fines and Offenses:<\/span><\/p>\n

Administrative Sanctions resulting from traffic violations committed during the rental period of the car are borne entirely by the tenant and the company must be informed. If the fine is discovered afterwards and after the end of the lease, the violation will be charged to the tenant.<\/p>\n

Loss of Keys:<\/span><\/p>\n

In case of loss of car keys, you should inform us immediately to give you a spare. The cost of replacing the key is borne solely by the tenant and is not covered by any insurance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Extra charges: <\/b><\/p>\n

1) Out of hours deliveries (22:00 – 08:00): Are available for an extra cost depending on the hour of pick-up.<\/p>\n

2) One way rentals: Collecting the vehicle in one location and dropping it off to another. Available upon request, depending on different locations.<\/p>\n

3) Additional drivers: 2 Driver are free of charge. The 3rd driver is extra \u20ac2\/day.<\/p>\n

4) Baby\/Booster Seats: Available upon request for \u20ac2\/day.<\/p>\n

5) G.P.S: Availabe upon request for \u20ac8\/day.<\/p>\n

Cleanliness, Smoking & Pet Policy<\/b><\/h5>\n

We expect the car to be returned in a reasonable condition so it can be properly inspected. All our vehicles are strictly non-smoking \u2014 every customer deserves a fresh and clean car. <\/span><\/p>\n

Pets must travel in an appropriate transport box similar to those used for air travel. Crete\u2019s winding roads can be unpredictable, and a secure box helps protect both your companion and the vehicle while keeping the car fresh for the next family.<\/p>\n

A bit of holiday dust is perfectly fine! However:<\/p>\n

\u2022 External cleaning (\u20ac20): Applied if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty on the outside and cannot be properly inspected for damage.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Interior bio-cleaning (\u20ac100): Applied if smoking is detected, pets travel without a transport box resulting in hair or stains, or if heavy residue such as sand, sunscreen oils, or food spills requires professional biological cleaning.<\/p>\n

These charges reflect the cost of professional cleaning needed to restore the vehicle to a safe and hygienic condition for the next customer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Insurance Policy:<\/b><\/h3>\n

C.D.W. Isurance (Collision Damage Waiver) with Excess:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

C.D.W. is included in the standart rate of the rentals and reduces the liability of the renter for damage to the car up to the amount of the excess:<\/p>\n

a) For Groups A, A4, A5, B, B1, B3, Maximum Excess: \u20ac800<\/p>\n

b<\/span>) For Groups C, C1, C2, C4, G, Maximum Excess: \u20ac1000<\/span><\/p>\n

c) For Groups D, D2, D4, D5, F, T, Maximum Excess: \u20ac1200<\/p>\n

d) For Groups E, E2, E4, E5, Maximum Excess: \u20ac1400<\/p>\n

e) For Groups G, G2, G4, G5, H, H2, H4, Maximum Excess: \u20ac1600<\/p>\n

f) For Groups T, T1, T2, T3, Maximum Excess: \u20ac1700<\/p>\n

g) For Groups  K, K2, K3, K4, K5, Maximum Excess: \u20ac1800<\/p>\n

h) For Groups I, I2, I4, Maximum Excess: \u20ac2000<\/p>\n

i) For Groups L1, L2, Maximum Excess: 2700\u20ac<\/p>\n

j) For Groups L3, L4, L5, L6, Maximum Excess: 3700\u20ac<\/p>\n

The excess is reserved for the period of the rental by a credit\/debit card which must be issued under the name of the driver, and will be fully refunded after the end of the rental period,  if no damage has occured.<\/p>\n

F.C.D.W. \/ S.C.D.W. Insurance (Full \/ Special Collision Damage Waiver) with 0\u20ac Excess:<\/b><\/p>\n

F.C.D.W. \/ S.C.D.W. Insurance is provided  by paying an extra daily cost depending on the category of the car.The renter can be fully exempt from the above-mentioned C.D.W excess amount. Covers damage to the bodywork, lights, mirrors and crystal breakage.<\/p>\n

*NOTE:<\/span> In the event of an accident, you must contact ABC Car Rentals and the police and report the incident immediately.
Provide photos,  then submit a copy of the police report along with the rental contract to the rental company. CDW coverage does not apply beyond the agreed rental duration with the rental company. No insurance covers damage caused to the underside of the car, the wheels and the tires<\/span><\/p>\n

Security Deposit:<\/b><\/h4>\n
Always, the amount of the security deposit must be blocked from a valid credit\/debit card in the name of the driver.The amount of the deposit will be automatically released at the end of the rental period, if no extra charges have occured. <\/span><\/h5>\n

Third Party Insurance (T.P.I.):<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

You are insured in the event of injury or destruction of third party propery beyond the renter and the pasengers.<\/p>\n

Personal Accident Insurance (P.A.I.):<\/b><\/p>\n

Personal Accident insurance covers hospital treatment costs and all medical costs for both the driver and the occupants of the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Theft Protection (T.P.):<\/span><\/p>\n

Is included in F.C.D.W. \/ S.C.D.W. Insurance, and completely relieves the renter of financial responsibility in case of the the of the vehicle. your personal belongings are not covered.<\/p>\n

In case of <\/b>theft, you must report the incident to the Police and submit the police report, rental agreement and vehicle’s keys to the closest ABC Rentals <\/b>location. Theft Protection does not apply beyond the rental period agreed on the agreement.<\/p>\n

ROAD ASSISTANCE:<\/span><\/p>\n

Road Assistance is included in the rental.<\/span><\/p>\n

NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE:<\/strong><\/p>\n

a) Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.<\/p>\n

b) Violations of the traffic code. (road signs, speed limits, road direction)<\/p>\n

c) Not taking the necessary actions after an accident. (Driver must immedietly stop at the point of the accident, inform the  Police, ABC Rentals <\/b>and get the information of those involved, such as names, adresses and plate number, etc.)<\/p>\n

d) Using the vehicle for unfrair and illegal purposes. (smuggling, theft, illegal transport of objects and goods, etc.)<\/p>\n

e) When the driver is not declared on the rental agreement.<\/p>\n

f) When the driver uses the vehicle for any kind of race or competition.<\/p>\n

g) When the the driver damages the car by driving off-road. (dirt roads, mountains, beaches, etc.)<\/p>\n
